Annual Christmas Cruise; Thursday 10th December 2009
Koru Care took 250 children and 60 volunteers out for our annual Christmas Cruise. The day included a 2 hour cruise on a Fullers ferry around the Auckland harbour and then a party and BBQ at Eastern Beach. Our guest of honour on the cruise was Ronald McDonald who took time out of his busy day to mingle with the children.
At the beach the children had fun eating, swimming, riding in Thundercats, dancing and singing to the DJ and then Santa arrived by fire truck to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. A great day was had by all and Koru Care would like to thank all those that made it possible. Pictures of the cruise can be viewed in our photo gallery.
