For the past 25 years Koru
Care New Zealand has been working to bring
some joy into the lives of seriously ill,
disabled and disadvantaged children in New
Zealand. To mark its 25th
Anniversary in 2008 Koru Care New Zealand
is taking 50 very special children to Los
Angeles in October.
The trip is the 42nd
overseas trip conducted by Koru Care New Zealand
and is estimated to cost in excess of $300,000.
Our major fundraising event for the year is
a 25th Anniversary
Gala Dinner and Charity Auction, sponsored
by Mazda Foundation to be held at the Crowne
Plaza Auckland on Saturday 20 September. It
is anticipated that more than 300 guests will
join us in an evening of glitz and glamour,
raising funds for the trip to Los Angeles.
The live auction will be limited to 30 items,
and we have managed to assemble a great range
of high quality items, including some world
class sporting, music and movie memorabilia.

At the conclusion of the live auction musical
entertainment and dancing will entertain those
who wish to stay until the wee small hours.
Tickets are priced at $175 each or $1,575
