Specsavers Newmarket has launched the nationwide ‘Specsavers Community Programme’, and has invited the Koru Care Charitable Trust to join them in the initiative.

specsavers-community-program-logo-lowresThe Programme aims to raise funds for The Fred Hollows Foundation NZ as well as each Specsavers store’s local charity of choice. We are thrilled that Specsavers Newmarket has chosen Koru Care as their local charity partner.

So how does it work? For each pair of glasses sold at Specsavers stores, the customer uses a token to select which charity they would like to support and a subsequent donation will be made by the store.

Through the Community Programme, Specsavers aims to raise over $50,000 for The Fred Hollows Foundation NZ and community initiatives over the next year.
As an active member of their community, the team at Specsavers Newmarket is committed to giving back to the community that supports them.
